The Turben Puller was conceived in April 1974 as a frame puller for the automotive aftermarket. It was first used to obtain a perpendicular pull on a stubborn frame of a new Buick. A car had been sent to a frame shop that had made two unsuccessful attempts to pull the frame back in line.
